Mike has been a part of the Tampa Theatre scene for over a decade as actor, singer and costume designer. Most notably, Mike was a best local actor finalist for the 2009 Creative Loafing’s “Best of the Bay” Awards.

As costume designer, Mike has been the resident costume designer for The Gorilla Theatre since 2005. Mike, along with his wife Kathy are the founders of Evergreen Theatre Collective, an arts and education organization dedicated to promoting, producing and supporting the arts in Tampa Bay.

Mike’s costume designs have been seen at the Straz Center, Mahaffey Theater, SLT Productions, Gorilla Theatre and many other local and regional theatres. Mike’s favorite costume credits include: Shirley Valentine, Elizabeth and Edward, Christmas Trio, Six degrees of Separation, Drunken City, The Long Christmas Dinner, Alice in Wonderland, The Sound of Music, Orson’s Shadow, A Christmas Carol, Pippin, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Jack and the Bean Stalk and so many more!

As always, his biggest joy is working alongside his two favorite leading ladies, his wife Kathy and daughter Amanda.
