Nanako began her ballet training in Japan at Jardin des Arts. In 2005, she was selected to attend the prestigious Royal Ballet School. She has performed for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

She joined the National Tour of Birmingham Royal Ballet and graduated from its Elmhurst school having received a National Diploma in Professional Dance. She is working as a resident artist at New Tampa Dance Theatre.
