Sanibel (Owner of the Pompano Saloon) – Jane Koorts

Sanibel (Owner of the Pompano Saloon) – Jane KoortsMs. Koorts began her dance training at Dance Arts Studio in Macon, GA, under Alice Sheridan and Jean E. Weaver.  She was a founding member of the Middle GA Youth Ballet, and after graduation spent a year at University of Utah before transferring to London Studio Centre in England.

There she earned her BA Honours in Classical Ballet and toured England and Wales with Margaret Barbieri’s Images of Dance Company.

Jane has also worked with Columbia City Ballet, Ballet Savannah, and Contemporary Ballet Theatre. As a member of Rebecca Davis Dance Company, Jane performed in Van Gogh, Darfur and Braving the New World. She earned her certification in Sports Massage Therapy in 2005 and is currently teaching for and performing with International Ballet Classique and the newly formed Ballet Fleming Dance Company.
