José Gaspar – Alex Crozier-Jackson

Jose Gaspar – Alex Crozier-JacksonAlex Crozier-Jackson is a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  He began dancing at the age of seven at his neighborhood dance school Jeanette’s School of Dance. In 2001, he performed with The Houston Grand Opera in their production of Carmen.

He went onto further his dance training at Wissahickon Dance Academy in 2004 where he performed works from A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Gaîté Parisienne, and La Fille Mal Gardée. He supplemented his training with summer programs at Wissahickon Dance Academy, Pennsylvania’s Governor’s School for the Arts, and Netherlands Dance Theater.

Alex is a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA degree in Ballet.  He has had the pleasure of performing works by Paul Selwyn Norton, Roni Koresh, and excerpts from Bayadere staged by Anastasia Babayeva.  Outside of school Alex has preformed professionally with Brandywine Ballet, Xhale Dance Company, Long Island Ballet Theater, Rebecca Davis Dance Company, and the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine. Most recently Mr. Crozier-Jackson has been a Principal Dancer with Long Island Ballet Theatre and the newly formed BalletFleming Dance Company.  He has toured in Europe with Austria's first contemporary dance company D. ID Dance Identity.
